Our Story

Jesus Restoration Center(JRC) was founded in 2013 by pastor George Mukabwa who was later joined by a small group of passionate believers with a vision to create a vibrant spiritual home in Mwanza. What started as a humble gathering in a community hall has grown into a thriving church, committed to spreading the love of God and serving our neighbors.

Over the years, we've celebrated countless milestones, witnessed incredible transformations, and built a community rooted in deep faith and genuine fellowship. We are continually amazed by God's faithfulness and look forward to the future He has for us.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, our ultimate guide for faith and life.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift from God, received through grace by faith in Jesus Christ, not by works.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, enabling believers to live a godly life and empowering them for service.

The Church

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ, forming the Church, His body.

Lead Pastor

Pastor George Mukabwa has been serving Jesus Restoration Center(JRC) since 2013. He is passionate about expository preaching and discipling believers to live out their faith daily. He and his wife, Sarah, have two children.
